Double-Tongued Word Wrester - anyone who has read this blog for a while will know that I'm tickled by words and language. I'm dead chuffed any time I learn a new word or find a site about them.
Run by an American lexicographer, this site "focuses upon slang, jargon, and other niche categories which include new, foreign, hybrid, archaic, obsolete, and rare words. Special attention is paid to the lending and borrowing of words between the various Englishes and other languages, even where a word is not a fully naturalized citizen in its new language."
Hmm, migrating 'asylum seeker' words....I like it.
